Eleanor Koffler presents: The Circus

Some ideas are born at the work table, and some stay with you long before you know they'll become a collection. The circus was one of those for me.

It always drew me in not only as a childhood world full of fantasy, but precisely at the meeting point between fashion, couture, theatre and nostalgia. The circus returns again and again throughout fashion history, and one reference that stayed with me in particular is Dior's Haute Couture Spring–Summer 2019 collection, in which Maria Grazia Chiuri translated it into high fashion dramatic, precise and full of imagination, without giving up any of its magic. For Winter 26/27, it felt like the right moment to tell that world again, in our own way, through TAKE ME HOME.

Our circus We took the nostalgia of the old circus and softened it. Carousels, elephants, balloons, stripes and bows, alongside characters that look as though they stepped out of an old children's book — all reimagined in a refined vintage palette of powder pink, cream, butter yellow and natural tones. Alongside the prints we worked with classic cuts, soft fabrics and small details that give each piece an almost timeless feel. Somewhere between a nostalgic children's wardrobe and the world of couture.

It was important to me that the circus be present throughout the collection but never as a costume. Always as a translation of the circus into the language of fashion.

Behind the magic: the visual language Behind the illustrated world so closely identified with TAKE ME HOME is illustrator Marva Lang, who works alongside the brand and creates its distinctive visual language delicate and nostalgic.

And there's a personal story, too This collection was born during a very particular time in my life. While I was working on it, I was pregnant with my third daughter a pregnancy that arrived as a surprise, at a moment I hadn't planned for. But when do our lives ever unfold exactly according to plan?

It all happened at once: the collection, the pregnancy, the children, the business, and life itself. And inside all that beautiful chaos there was so much excitement for something new about to arrive. I think that's why I connected to this world so deeply. For me, the circus is a place where surprise, imagination, chaos and magic can all exist together. And while I was creating a whole world of fantasy, the greatest magic of all was taking shape inside me.

A world with room for a little more imagination, and for pieces we'll want to keep long after the children have outgrown them. That's exactly the feeling I wanted to create in this collection.
